San Jose, Calif. – Mar. 21, 2018 – APX, Inc, the pioneer and leader in environmental commodity infrastructure, today announced that it has successfully completed a Service Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II examination related to security, availability and processing integrity principles defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

We worked with MossAdams LLP, an independent certified public accounting firm, to perform an in-depth audit of the control objects and activities for APX. The Type II audit validates the strength of our controls over time and highlights our ongoing commitment to security.

“Completing the SOC 2 audit demonstrates our ongoing commitment to security and underscores the investment we’ve made to keep our customers’ data and systems safe,” said Joe Varnas, APX CEO.

Service Organization Control (SOC) reports are internal control reports on the services provided by a service organization designed to provide valuable information to help users assess and address the risks associated with an outsourced service. APX also has obtained a follow-on SOC 3 report based on the same security and availability principles covered in the SOC 2 audit. If you’d like to request a copy of the report, please contact Lars Kvale (lkvale@apx.com).
