APX is pleased to announce the successful completion of the pilot of the National Energy Efficiency Registry (NEER) demonstration software. The pilot was conducted on a pilot registry platform built by APX and based on the technology of The North American Renewables Registry™.
The pilot was organized and conducted by The Climate Registry and E4TheFuture, in accordance with the NEER Principles & Operating Rules developed in collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders.
As described by The Climate Registry, “the NEER is a web-based platform that will help states document achievement of energy and environmental goals, disclose regulated entities’ compliance activities, and drive voluntary investment in energy efficiency and energy and water conservation initiatives, by supporting the registration and tracking of energy efficiency projects and issuing tradable instruments based on resulting savings.”
“APX was instrumental to the success of the software demonstration pilot,” said Ryan Cassutt of The Climate Registry. “Staff from APX were very professional and responsive, and really helped us show pilot participants how this platform could work.”
